Turning Awareness into Action

Pure Solutions

Overview

At Pure Solutions, I developed a remarketing email campaign designed to re-engage users who had previously shown intent, either by requesting a quote or beginning the signup process but not converting.

The campaign was built around a core behavior insight: preventive services are easy to postpone until the risk feels immediate.

During early tick season, I focused on turning passive awareness into active urgency by reframing timing as a deciding factor, not just interest in the service itself.

The Challenge

Most users in this audience already understood the value of tick prevention, but intent didn’t always translate into action. Behaviorally, prevention-based decisions are rarely driven by information alone. They’re driven by perceived immediacy.

They weren’t unconvinced…they were delayed.

The challenge was not education, but creating a reason to act now rather than later in the season when the risk feels more tangible.

The Approach

Impact

  • Achieved the highest CTA click-through rate (1.45%) among all email campaigns sent between January–May 2024 by leveraging timely targeting and emotionally resonant messaging.

  • Drove a 37.32% open rate (second highest of the period) through a subject line and preview strategy designed to capture seasonal urgency and safety-focused attention.

  • Contributed to a 30% increase in lead generation through remarketing strategy, optimized send timing, and audience segmentation.

What This Project Shows

Being able to connect audience behavior, seasonal context, and timing is what makes a campaign like this effective.

Strong performance doesn’t always come from new messaging, but reintroducing the right message at the right moment in the decision cycle.
